SuperCross Africa at Loftus

·         Loftus Versfeld will be hosting the Greatest Supercross event ever staged in Africa on the 1st of November 2014 – Monster Energy Supercross Africa

·         Featuring over 40 of the best supercross athletes – with top International riders including the likes of Jake Weimer, Josh Hill, Darryn Durham confirmed (full rider list here www.supercrossafrica.com/riders)  

·         The prize purse - $50,000  - making it the biggest purse of its kind in the country

·         3,000 tons of dirt will be used to transform the 100 year old field into a giant supercross track with sculpted obstacles and an FMX section

·         40,000 spectators

·         The track designed by UK’s Justin Barclay – the master mind behind many of the best supercross tracks in the world

·         FMX legend, Blake “Bilko” Williams, confirmed

·         Former World, AMA Champ and national hero, Grant Langston will return to commentate the event

·         KTM Junior Challenge confirmed (this is a showcase race for kids between 6 and 9 years old)

Be there to see real deal Supercross in a Stadium for the first time in well over a decade. Monster Supercross will go down at Loftus Versveld in Pretoria and the track layout looks serious, as in America serious! Practice laps and qualifying heats will kick off the event at 5pm, followed by a 30 minute FMX (Freestyle Motocross) display. The Event’s Final races will be held after Sunset to allow for the full Lights, Pyrotechnics and Racing to reach a spectacular climax.
